Practicing forming our letters correctly

We have a new app on our ipads for us to practise forming our letters correctly. We get instant feed back when we practice forming our letters. The computer says 'You did it"

If the letter is not right we practice it again and again.

Designing our own Ruaumoko ( Mountain)

 We  are making our own Ruaumoko volcanos using recyling materials that we have been saving.

The children worked so hard, working together, helping each other and celebrating their creations.

Week 9: Making Shapes with Explain Everything

We have been learning about creating pictures by using other shapes.
On Explain Everything, we have been learning about taking photos of our shapes.
Then we have been using the Explain Everything shapes to create a copy of our picture.

Aimie helped us learn how to take a photo, make a shape and write our names  and then make a movie by 

talking about our picture.

 We remembered to talk in a clear voice.

 We used Explain Everything.

 We are going to ask our buddy  classes in other schools in New Zealand. We loved connecting to other schools.

 We are enjoyed colouring our world by singing, reading and creating.

We loved making these magic rainbows.
