Hugging and Holding our iPads

We are very excited in Ruaumoko today because we get to start our learning about our iPads.

We have been thinking about how we look after our pets.  One thing we do is to carry our pets safely.

Our iPads need to be carried safely too.  We carry them by using the Hug and Hold.

Here are some photos of us hugging and holding our iPads.

Learning together.

Here are some photos to show us learning together.

What is your favourite place to learn with your friends?

Wednesday bike riding

We love Wednesday mornings as it's bike riding!
We  were better than last Wednesday! We remembered how to check our helmets and we checked our bikes.
When we fell off, we got up and had another go.
'I didn't even cry,'' said Olive. didn't cry. It was great having Herb to help us. " I had a go on a big bike", said Weston. You can have a turn now on the big bike Theo. Some of us even went where the big kids went. It was so much fun.

Where do you like riding your
bike at home?

Casey Caterpillar.

We are learning how to form  letters starting in the correct place.  Using the story of Casey is helping us and it is a fun way.
We are practicing really hard  and we don't give up if we sometimes find it hard. we can ask some one in the class or ask Mrs Loudon if we need help. We also tell our friends if they have formed the letter correctly. We love celebrating new learning.

We can choose a new library book to read each night.
We are very excited about visiting the library today.

Let's glue!

We are learning how to become great learners at using our Glue sticks and pasting in our new home learning books.
We are practicing how to glue the paper we want to put in the book!

We are working together.
This book is called 'My home learning book'.
Can you please write a little
